Choosing to make Maine my home was not an accident. It was a deliberate step toward the kind of life and community I value most. Although I was not born here, my roots in the Midcoast run deep, and it felt like coming home.
I was raised by parents who shaped how I approach business and life. My father instilled in me the value of a dollar, loyalty to community, and long term commitment. He lived in the same home and worked for the same company for over 40 years. My mother, an English teacher and artist, was a lifelong learner and independent thinker. From them I learned to think critically, consider multiple perspectives, and solve problems with both discipline and creativity. Those principles guide every negotiation and every client relationship.
Before real estate, I worked as a behavior therapist, helping families navigate complex challenges with clarity and compassion. I later built a successful career as a fitness coach, personally serving more than 6,000 clients and mentoring over 700 coaches who led clients of their own. I have also served as a youth leader for middle and high school students and now serve as lay leader of my church. Across each season of leadership, one theme remained consistent: people deserve thoughtful guidance, honest communication, and steady direction.
As owner and active broker of The New England Real Estate Company, I hold myself and my team to a higher standard of service. I represent clients buying and selling homes across Maine, from iconic waterfront estates to guiding families into their first homes and helping retirees secure the peaceful properties where they can begin their next chapter. From luxury oceanfront estates to classic farmhouses and simple retirement residences, every transaction receives the same level of strategy, discretion, and care. Real estate is personal, and understanding my clients is always the starting point.
My husband Tom and I live in Lincolnville on eleven acres, where we have cared for a variety of animals over the years including cats, dogs, geese, ducks, rabbits, chickens, and horses. Tom is a financial advisor and an avid golfer. I am happiest at the barn with my horse or exploring new places together. Our greatest joy is our three children and our two grandchildren.
Through The New England Real Estate Company, my commitment extends beyond individual transactions. We give one percent of our profits to nonprofits and return three percent to the dedicated agents who help drive our success each year. Excellence in business and investment in community go hand in hand.
Real estate is about stewardship, leadership, and relationships built to last.
That is the standard I hold for myself and the company I lead.
